Rev Shayne Blackman

Shayne Blackman lives in Townsville. He is a descendant of the Gurang - Meeroni people of the Bundaberg/Gladstone area.
Shayne is the national administrator of the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress (UAICC) of the Uniting Church in Australia. He has responsibility for the oversight and overall administration of the work of the Congress throughout Australia.

Lurleen Blackman lives in Townsville. On her father's side, she is a descendent of the Toolooa people from the Gladstone region, and on her mother's side a descendent of the Nywagi people from the Ingham area.
